Roadshow - Interreg IV A - Wednesday March 10th - Caen (Normandy-France)

The Interreg IV A France (Channel) - England Programme,European Programme for Anglo-French cross-border cooperation, is happy to invite you to its "ROADSHOW" to be held on Wednesday March 10th, 2010 in Caen (Basse-Normandie - France)

This is a first announcement: Do set aside this date in your diaries!


What is a Roadshow ? At the initiative of the Programme's Joint Technical Secretariat, Roadshows are for the benefit of potential French and English project partners. Organised twice a year, Roadshows travel throughout the Programme's eligible area, in connection with Programme Steering Committee meetings.

What is the purpose of the day ? To inform on the Programme and on available financing opportunities, to offer an event that would generate project ideas, a place where exchanges with the JTS are to take place and where potential partners can meet.

The 10th of March event is organised by the Programme's Joint Technical Secretariat, in partnership with the Basse-Normandie Region, and will focus on two specific areas:

  • In the morning, a plenary session dedicated to a general description of the Programme along with testimonies from project partners

  • In the afternoon, after friendly discussions over lunch, the JTS will invite you to a "PROJECT FACTORY" FORUM, in order to meet representatives of the programme, projects partners, and work jointly on the development of Anglo-French project ideas. The forum is designed around:

* Three workshops targeted on specific themes :  * Innovation (partnerships between new economic fields and clusters, support the creation of innovative companies innovation in management practices and technological innovation...)

* Renewable energies (renewable marine energies : technological development, space and environment planning, networking and training...) and energy use efficiency


* Climate change impact (to communicate towards local communuties and citizens, economic, environmental and societal impacts...)

  • Workshops to answer all you ever wanted to ask about putting together cross-border projects

  • A project forum to meet representatives of the programme.
