The Executive Committee of the Arc Manche Assembly shall be composed of all full members.

The Executive Committee has the authority to take the decisions necessary in order to meet the objectives of the Arc Manche Assembly.

The Executive Committee shall meet at least twice a year.

Decisions in the Executive Committee shall be reached by consensus.However, the Executive Committee can take decisions by vote. The decisions of the Executive Committee shall be taken by simple majority.

The President and Vice-President of the Arc Manche Assembly shall be elected by the full members for two years.

The Presidency shall alternate between the French and the British.

The current president is Alain Le Vern, President of the Upper Normandy region. The President’s tasks shall be to represent, promote and defend the objectives of the Arc Manche Assembly to European and national institutions and other organisations.

The President will chair the annual Conference and the Executive Committee meetings. The President shall be assisted in his/her tasks by a Vice-President of the other nationality.
The current Vice-President of the Arc Manche Assembly is Brad Watson, also a West Sussex County Council Member.The Vice-President shall substitute for the President as and when necessary. He shall also oversee the drafting of opinions and political declarations in collaboration with the President.

The bureau is composed of the President and the Vice-President.

It shall ensure the management of the Assembly and oversee the implementation of decisions taken by the Executive Committee with regard to the mission and objectives of the Assembly.

It shall prepare and present the annual activity report to the Executive Committee.

The secretariat shall be responsible for the day to day running of the Arc Manche Assembly. It shall prepare the Executive Committee and the Annual Conference meetings, maintain the website and be the main point of contact for all members and enquiries.

The conference of Arc Manche will bring together all full and associate members.

It will meet once a year during the first week of July. However, it can meet exceptionally at the request of the Executive Committee.

The Conference meetings shall be the occasion for exchanges and debates on all questions that contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the Assembly and the development of Franco-British partnerships.
