2001 - Consultation of political leaders on the Arc Manche's relaunching.
2002 - A framework of joint cooperation is prepared (Arc Manche statement)
20 March 2003 - Joint statement signed by the officers of the 5 French regions boarding the Channel and the 5 local authorities of Southern England. Arc Manche is relaunched.
2004 - EMDI : a project for l'Arc Manche : Creation of the Espace Manche Development Initiative project developed in the frame of the European programme INTERREG which defines a three-years programme action.
2005 - Arc Manche Assembly creation : Alain LE VERN, Président of the French region Upper Normandy, is elected President of the Arc Manche Assembly and Brad WATSON, West Sussex County Council Cabinet member becomes Vice-Président for two years.
2006 - Concrete outcomes for Arc Manche
- Most of the British and French territories boarding the Channel are eligible to the European programme of transborder cooperation,
- Launching of the Strategic Vision for the Channel area implemented in the frame of EMDI project.
- Stakeholders alerted on the opportunities to cooperate at the Arc Manche Assembly Conference at Fontwell Park (West Sussex) on 17 October 2007.
2007 - Multiplication of transborder and transnational cooperations in preparation : Inaugural Congress of the Federation of Regional and Local Channel Ports in Saint-Brieuc on 1 Februrary 2007. La présidence de l'Arc Manche revient à Brad WATSON. Alain LE VERN est vice-président.
June 2008 - Publication of the book « Channel Spaces, a World within Europe », written by Pascal BULEON and Louis SHURMER-SMITH.
25 June 2009 - The CAMIS project is approved within the framework of the Interreg IVA France (Manche)-England programme
